This lovable dog is eager to share tail-wagging moments, endless companionship, and unconditional love. They have a heart full of loyalty and are ready to become your lifelong companion. Saxon is low-maintenance, has shown he can be house-trained while in foster, and enjoys leisurely strolls and watching the sunset. He's the perfect match for someone who appreciates the joy of a calm, lazy day or going on an adventure. Saxon has worked with a dog behaviorist and has been muzzle trained. He would benefit as an only dog or introduced into a home of smaller female dogs very slowly. He cannot be in a home with cats. This courageous boy has overcome leishmaniasis with a wagging tail and a spirit that shines bright. Fill out an Adoption Application 2. Phone interview 3. Reference Checks 4. Meet and greet with the dog you are interested in (and any dogs you may have) 5. Home inspection 6. 1 week trial run (in home) 7. Finalize adoption (contract, collection of adoption fee and transfer of medical records) Our adoption is fee $150.00, due at the end of your week trial, and includes spay or neuter, rabies (if of age), vaccinations, worming, microchip and any other medical required for the health of the particular animal. The entire process can take 1-3 weeks to process, so please be patient and understand if you live outside of the Greater Richmond Area, the process may take longer. Our goal is to place the right bully in the right home.
