From Scott's previous adopter:Scott is the most handsome, loving, giant couch potato of a dog you could ever come across. His love will be thrust upon you in the form of: leaning until you almost fall over, sitting on your body with his full weight, refusal of the end of pets, staring at you perkily until he recieves said pets, and big wet hellos when you get home from work.He is the biggest couch potato and snuggler you could ask for. Whether you are sleeping on him or he on you, binging netflix with this dog is just the greatest.Scott is also a smart pup, he knows which food to steal off the counter to avoid trouble or suspicion. He let's you know when its time to go potty and he knows his basic commands.Amazing with little kids, we have an almost 2 year old who we are kid training to be gentle with dogs and he tolerated everything she dished out behind our backs. Multiple times i would come in from taking the trash out (etc) and she would be sitting on his face or poking him while he lay there completely untroubled.Furthermore, we have a petite older little chihuahua mix that was quite ornery towards him and he never so much as blinked or showed any sign of anything whatsoever. Our small dog would snarl and snap and Shadow just looked somewhat confused. He loves all dogs and plays and plays and plays with our friends dog.Last but not least he assumes the roll of family protector which can be challenging at moments but also reassuring. Scott is an amazing pupper and anyone would be so lucky to have this big guy in their lives.We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions.
