Hello, my name is Seuss!I love to play with other dogs and would love to have one in my home to play with and learn from. I love going to the dog park, playing keep away with my toys, chewing on my squeaker toys, swimming, running, getting treats with my foster mom, and cuddling with her since I'm a huge lap dog (and I fit perfectly in laps)! I might be nervous at first, but once I warm up to you, I'll be your best friend! I do well with cats, I am very curious about them and want to play with them, but I might not do well with small children, as I am a bit nervous and need gentle people to love me! I am definitely getting better at socializing with everyone and will even offer a few licks!I am still working on house training, but if you take me out often and keep working with me I will get better and better! I am crate trained.If you have time and patience with me, I will be your best boy!My adoption fee of $200 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.Adoption processCats and kittens are $100Dogs and puppies start at $150Adoption fees include their spay or neuter, all vaccinations appropriate for their age and they are microchipped.All prospective adopters are required to complete an application and go through a short interview process. Once approved the adoption fees are paid and the adopter is able to bring the pet home the same day.Please note that you must be 21 years of age to adopt.Shelter locationPawmetto Lifeline is open for adoptions Monday-Friday 12 noon-7 pmSaturday 10 am-7 pmSunday 12 noon-5 pm.
