Miss Sheila is a 5 year old Aussie looking for a new home. She has been very loved and cared for in her life. She is a dog that has a sweet, friendly personality and loves everyone she meets. In typical Aussie fashion, she tends to pick one household member and prefers that person.Sheila has been a member of the dog park and doggy day care in the past and was ok with dogs for short periods of time. She would prefer to be the only dog in her home. She hasn't been around cats, we would expect that she may herd them. Sheila has done well with children in the past but would do best living with older children who know how to be gentle. Sheila is crate trained and house trained. She also knows some basic commands like sit, down, stay, leave it, shake, and high five. Sheila has been through some basic training classes.Sheila would prefer a home that's active and will provide some opportunities to go out and do things like hike or walk. She is a larger Aussie at approximately 55-60 pounds. She is up to date on all of her vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and spayed.
