Meeko6 years old Neutered male Shih Tzu The boy with this dazzling little smile goes by the name of Meeko! Meeko is a worried little fella who can take a bit of time to make new friends and adjust to his surroundings. However, once heâs comfortable, he is a cuddly little companion! Meeko will need a very slow transition into his new life, with adopters who are willing to keep his bubble very small to start, and slowly expand it only when he is ready. Meeko doesnât like to share items that are special to him, and because of this, he would do best with older kids who can respect his space and read his body language. Meeko has coexisted successfully with cats, and likely could again with slow and proper introductions. If youâd like to learn more about Meeko and whether heâd be a good fit for your family, come in during open hours to meet him! We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm â no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.
