This 10 year old Shitz Tzu/Yorkie mix (best guess) loves people and gets along well with other dogs and with cats. She has been spayed for years, but we just gave her a long overdue dental which has left her nearly toothless, but still happy and friendly. Annie is one of the Tulelake Survivors whose owner died in her van in early February after she and her dogs were evicted from their home the month before. Her dogs survived and most of them came to the High Plateau Humane Society for rehoming. Annie clearly received a lot of love and attention from her former owner, despite their difficult financial circumstances, and she is dedicated to offering lots of love an attention to her new home.
