Shortbread is a fiesty little girl with lots and lots of energy. She tries to be the alpha pup when dealing with her litter mates. She is super loving when it comes to humans and looks for approval. She still needs lots of training as far as housebreaking and commands, but with lots of love, kindness and patience we feel she will learn quickly and work hard at pleasing her special human.If you would like to meet this sweet girl please submit an application on our website, canaananimalsanctuary.org.Adoption processThe first step is for the adopter to submit an application which includes required information about landlord, if renting, veterinarian contact information for health check on current or past pets, and three personal references. A scheduled home visit is also required. The adoption fees vary with an average range for dogs from $165.00 to $295.00. Cat adoption fees range from $50.00 to $115.00...
