Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Raleigh, NC Skylar is a 6 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 65 lbs. She is spayed and microchipped, but isn’t up to date on shots or on heartworm prevention. Skylar is good with kids and cats! No dogs, due to her aggression! She has anxiety and was abused in the past by someone else. She will need a patient adopter to help her with the training that she needs. Her owner said she is a sweet girl, despite her struggles with the trauma she has been through. Skylar bit the owner’s German Shepherd that they previously had. The owner’s son tried to break it up by jumping on the German Shepherd’s back. Skylar tried to bite the other dog, but bit the son instead. She has bitten the owner’s ex-husband while he tried to break up another dog fight. She has also attacked their shih tzu. The owner is surrendering her because she is becoming territorial and aggressive. They are unable to provide the training that she needs. She is also aggressive to dogs inside and outside of the home. She needs to go by 6/1! If you think you can provide a great home for Skylar, please contact the owner listed below.
