I was adopted last week and my adopter lost me an hour after I was adopted. I ran right back to the shelter. I was found with my leash still attached. My adopted never said a word or came looking for me. The staff was heart broken for me because I am one of their favorite dogs here. I was an owner surrender. My original owner said that she couldn't keep me anymore after she moved. I weigh 43 pounds and I'm almost 2 years old. I do well with other dogs my size! I do not do well with cats or small dogs. I sit right away on command for treats. I'm working on new tricks. I'm a cuddly and affectionate guy. I lived in a home with children and I would love to have a home with kids again. I love to be outside and I walk very well on a leash. I am an extremely smart dog! I love playing tug of war with rope toys. I love shredding toys it's my favorite thing to do! Adoption processOur Adoption fee is 85.00 and you must fill out an application and have it approved. Animals may be viewed, adopted or reclaimed during the following hours:•Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.•Saturday & Sunday: ClosedShelter location521 Eclipse PlaceSouth Bend, Indiana 46628 We have adoption events every Sunday at the Petsmart on Ireland road from 11-3.
