Sophia is a very shy girl from a very rough past. Due to her past abuse she is very unsure of new people and often shys away from them. She is much more confident with a dog companion to let her know everything is okay. She would do best in a home without small children due to her nervousness and one that does have other dogs. She would not do well as the only pet.Adoption processAdoption fees are payable by cash, check, and Venmo (@kysave-rescue) 1- fill out application2- application is submitted to adoption board for approval3- If application is approved we will set up a meet and greet 4- If meet and greet goes well and all parties wish to continue with adoption we will do a home visit5- sign papers and pay adoption fee 6- Enjoy your new family member!Shelter locationWe are based in Richmond, KY but some of our animals are in foster care. Please submit an application if you are interested in meeting a pet you have seen online.
