Sparky is a three year old Chi-Wienie that weighs 12 pounds. He lost his home thru no fault of his own. Sparky needs time to warm up to new people. He is friendly and sweet with people he knows, but might hide from those he doesn't know yet. He is potty pad trained and crate trained. He likes a box or bottle on the potty pad so he has something to 'aim' at. This boy is a silly, funny little clown. He is neutered, has had a dental, is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm and flea preventives. His adoption fee is a donation to the rescue in the amount of $600.April 14, 2024, 9:48 pmAdoption processAn application to meet or adopt is required before scheduling an appointment or providing our address or directions. Other requirements are approval of application; adoption fees and contract. Adoption fees are tax deductible donations payable via PayPal or check made to Fairy Dogmother Rescue & Rehab, Inc. Cash is accepted also. Fees for long distance adoptions are payable thru PayPal (small service fee applies). Adoption fees are donations that support the rescue and make it possible to save, house, provide vet care and find homes for as many small dogs as possible. Fees provide for all the 50+ dogs at Fairy Dogmother, not just the dog being adopted. Most fees are $450 (seniors, some big dogs or long timers could be lower). All FDM dogs are safe on premises until adopted, are spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, maintained on monthly heartworm and flea preventive. There is no time limit for adoption.Shelter locationThe rescue is located in Baileyton, AL at the home of founder/director, Glenda Wilhite. Dogs are seen by appointment. Application to meet or adopt is required before appointments are scheduled or our address or directions provided.
