Sweet Sparrow had been through a terrible ordeal when he came to us. He was attacked by another animal and had a very serious leg wound. He was also very thin so he may have been on his own for awhile. He was seen by a vet and his wounds are now healed. He is 4-5 years old, neutered, flea treated, heartworm/lymes negative, microchipped. Sparrow is a happy dog who loves to play. He does need to be an only pet though. He has a high energy level, so it is not recommended that he be around children. You must own your home and have a fenced in yard. Sparrow will bring many hours of fun and joy to anyone lucky enough to give him a loving home. **Applications will not be screened if they do not meet the listed requirements.**Adoption processOur adoption process consists of an initial application for the animal of interest, followed by reference checks (both personal and with a veterinarian), a home visit, and finally if approved an adoption contract. All animals are required to be inside companion pets and the owner must maintain veterinary care throughout the life of the animal. Adoption fees are $150 for dogs, unless it is fostered through us for another rescue and $75 for cats. All animals are up to date with vaccinations and spayed/neutered before adoption.Shelter locationArrangements can be made to visit with any of our pets, but because we are foster based and do not have one facility, appointments must be made to do so.
