Hi, My name is Sunny. I am a beautiful Shepherd / Pyrenees mix. I am only 8 months old. I was surrendered because I growled at my owner. At the shelter I love my walks. I kind of prance. I need to learn some manners but if you use treats and are patient I behave like a proper lady. Obedience class will fix any of the bad puppy habits I have. Both of my breeds are known for their intelligence. I am happiest when I am outside. I did well with the other dogs when I would go to the dog park. I am friendly and playful. I just don't know my own strength sometimes. I know some commands already. And I am very treat motivated which means I would be easy to train. I can be so loving and would be so devoted to you but you need to give me a chance. Please remember that I am still just a puppy.Love, Sunny*I am suspected to have Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) or the effects of possible cerebellar injury, since I was found on the side of the road in 9/2023 with neurologic abnormalities but no physical injuries.On presentation, I have mild hypermetria and intention tremors that progress to moderate when excited or food offered. Otherwise I am in good health.A dog with cerebellar hypoplasia is abnormal from infancy, though it may not be clear that something is wrong until the pups are toddling around with some coordination. A dog with this disease clearly has balance issues: they walk with legs widely placed or places feet clumsily. They may lean against walls for support. Sitting still, they may look fairly normal, but once focused on a toy, food bowl or friendly hand, tremors begin and get more severe as concentration becomes more intense. Still, despite the obvious impairment, dogs with this condition are happy, able to feed themselves, and are felt to have good life quality.
