Say hello to Taz!This 1 year old Terrier mix is a lovebug who is full of spunk! He weighs about 43 pounds making him the perfect active companion, but still a great size for cuddling. He is an adorable boy who loves to go on walks outside and enjoy the sunshine or run around playing with his squeaky toys to his heart's content. Taz could make a great companion to another dog in the home, but they better be ready for his puppy energy to come out and play! Since he is such a sweetie, he could live with kids ages 10 and older if they're a good match. Taz is an adorable and lovable boy who will surely bring plenty of joy and laughter into your home. Adoption processAll of our adoptable animals are up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, de-wormed, de-flea and microchipped before adoptions are finalized. All dogs over six months of age receive a temperament assessment by our Certified Professional Dog Trainer to ensure appropriate placement. Also, many animals in our care receive basic obedience training to improve manners and increase adoptability. We are currently doing adoptions by appointment only. They will review our adoption process, answer any questions, and tell you more about the animals currently available for adoption at our shelter and in our foster program. Adoption Fees:Dogs6 months or under: $1756 months to 5 years: $1256 years or older (or special needs): $50 Cats6 months or under: $75 (or two kittens for $100)6 months to 5 years: $506 years or older (or special needs): $20 Senior to Senior Program: For adopters age 60 or older, adoption fees are reduced to $15 if the animal is 3 years or older. This service is made possible through the Pets for the Elderly Foundation. You will be asked to provide proof of age. Veteran Pet Program: Veterans and active military personnel receive 25% off of adoption fees. Valid military ID is required.Shelter locationWe are currently doing adoptions by appointment only.
