Tender has been in our adoption program searching for a forever home since August 2022! We have lowered her adoption fee to $125. SENIOR SPOTLIGHT-Tender! Excuse me...would you be my family? My Dad left me and my brother in a shelter when he couldn’t take care of us anymore. We don’t know why or what we did because we were his family since we were puppies. All I know is I was confused and scared. Thankfully a nice lady came and took me to a home and said she would help me find a family that would love me forever. My foster mom takes care of me and loves me, but I hope to find my very own family soon. Love, Tender She was tagged for foster on the day of her shelter deadline, and she is continually showing her gratefulness to be out of the shelter to her foster mom. She is extremely human focused and very affectionate; I mean all of the kisses and hugs a dog can give! She is pure love and affection with all people and is ready to find her fur-ever home! Meet Tender! Tender is a 11-years-young spayed female brown and white medium sized Pitbull Terrier mix that weighs 50lbs. She has a calm, sweet disposition with all people and she would be fine with older kids. Tender is house and crate trained and really loves relaxing in her crate with the door open. She rides great in the car and is the perfect co-pilot for adventures. Tender LOVES puppies but no other doggies, she prefers all the love and attention.. She is extremely quiet, no barking or whining, she is low energy, and is not picky with food at all. She eats veggies! She likes stuffed toys and really LOVES the couch and soft beds. Tender is looking for a forever home where she will be treated as a member of the family for the rest of her life, an in exchange she promises to give back lots of love, kisses, and devotion. Tender is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, Heartworm Negative and Micro Chipped. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. February 17, 2024, 8:22 pmAdoption processAdopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be UTD , current on HW prev and S/N. If a home visit is needed we will compele that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fee is $200 for dogs ad $250 for puppies. We spend an average of $300 on each dog/puppy, so the adoption fee helps pay for the vetting for future dogs we bring into the program.
