I am currently accepting applications for my male Golden Retriever, Toby. Hes laid back and very sweet which is a staple of this breeding. He shows a lot of potential for service/therapy so I would love to see him go to a home where he could carry this through. But he could also be shown and I believe would excel in obedience. Most pups from this breeding have gone either into show, service or therapy work. Hes great with children, seniors, cats, chickens, ducks and rabbits. He is crate trained and doing well with house breaking. He knows basic manners and is doing well with simple obedience and leash training.I strive to raise the healthiest, most well rounded Goldens. My goal in showing and raising Goldens has always been to better the breed. I accomplish this through very selective practices of health testing, showing, training and socializing. I perform the recommended health testing for the breed as well as testing for the genetic diseases found in the breed. In addition to that my dogs and puppies have not had any issues with cancer.Toby is an AKC registered Golden Retriever. His sire has numerous championships in multiple clubs and 8 titles (URO1, CGC, CGCU, CGCA, TDI, FDC, TKN, SPOT, & SPOT-ON). Both sire and dam have OFA good hips, normal elbows, normal cardiac, and normal UTD eyes. He will not be affected by the 9 genetic diseases found in Goldens. The sire finished as the 7th Golden Retriever in the country through UKC in 2019, and won BOB at a GR specialty in 2021.All of my dogs and puppies live in my family home. I start the pups on house breaking at a young age which makes the process of bringing home a puppy much easier. That in addition to being used to living in a home makes for a more comfortable transition into their new home.He is UTD on vaccines and dewormer. Passed his vet exam with flying colors.
