On one of the coldest weekends in January I found my young self abandoned, my person nowhere to be found. I searched but was chased off time and time again. Then one Sunday am, the warmer of the two days at 15 degrees, Desperate and freezing, I could go no further. “Go home“ the man told me. But where was that? I would not go. I sat at the door making a sound like a dove. Cooing, soft and mournful. How do you ignore that? The man let me in. I crashed slept and slept. Long story short, this nice couple is now taking care of me and Fostering me until we find my perfect “Forever Home.” My specifics are… my name is Tokyo. I’m a bully type breed. 12-18 mos. 70 pounds, male, strong, powerful, athletic, and prefer men. I’m good with people, friendly, no aggression, energetic, but can also relax. We then email an application for you to email back; Next we set up a meet and greet to meet the pet. If everything seems like a good fit at that time we set up the home visit/delivery. If our pets seems happy, safe and fits in then we complete the adoption and let our pet stay for first over night and so on...if not a good fit by the end of one week the pet cones back and there is a refund of all but $35 of the adoption fee.Shelter locationWe have "meet and greets" by appointment after applications are filled out and we have corresponded enough to basically know if there is a good match. Also we have adoptions every weekend, mostly at various businesses in Norman, and sometimes at special events. We hold our Adoption Fairs in the afternoons on Saturday or Sunday,
