Muttin’ could ever come between us, Valentine.Hi, my name is Trace! I have been told I am a sweet little lady who has stolen many hearts. I am named after the artful technique of tracing, and I bring a unique story waiting to unfold – a story of love, companionship, and the beauty of creating lasting connections. The beginning of my story is not what my friends would have wanted for me. But, the best of my story is yet to come!I came to Warrior Dog in August as an expectant momma. My 10 puppies were born via emergency c-section in mid-September. I have spent the last 8 weeks caring for and teaching my artful babies in the art of being good dogs. I keep hearing that I am an excellent teacher! Some things to know about me: I am a gentle and affectionate soul. Some of my favorite things are the people I know and trust. With my history, I like to take some time to truly trust new humans. But, once I do, I will wiggle my way right into your heart. I am told that I am a very smart girl who will definitely be a motivated learner. I have learned so many new things since coming to MN – I have learned to walk on a leash, learned to approach humans for affection, and have learned to trust multiple people I see on a regular basis. Also, I have some serious leaping ability – 4 foot fences are nothing for me.Some things I haven’t made clear yet: I am unsure about whether I like other dogs as I am still being a protective momma. I definitely love my puppies and play with them so well. Before coming to MN, I never lived inside a home. My humans do not know if I am housetrained or kennel trained. I am doing great at doing my business outside when taken out on a schedule and I sometimes whine to let them know I want to go outside.My friends here say to know me is to love me. This is reflected in the adoption fee shown below. *Training discounts do not apply*All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time.Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $275To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/Adoption processIndividual fees are posted in the profiles of each dog. Potential adopter will be contacted within in 24-48 hours of submitting an application if the application is approved.
