Tucum (born around August of 2022) is a black lab mix that came to Safe Haven with his friend Cari after they were found roaming the desert off a two-lane highway. Even though he was seemingly abandoned by his previous owners, he is a high-energy, active, and social young guy who loves all the humans he has met so far. He has also made another canine friend at the sanctuary but cannot wait to find his forever family!Adoption processSHAS carefully screens adopters. The adoptionprocess includes an application & interview, and mayinclude a vet check, landlord check &/or home visit. An adoption contract will be executed once the adoption is approved.Shelter locationWe are open Tue-Sun 11am-3pm and by appointment only at other times.
