EMMY The E LITTER pups are an eclectic adorable shepherd-mix bunch - all on the overall smaller size (projected for full grown size 28-30 lbs) these babies who were originally a litter of 11! were bottle-fed 24/7 by their loving foster mom! Emmy is beautiful and brilliant; she’s responding so well to training and commands, she is extremely cuddly and not really a Bossy Dog; she’s more submissive and great w other dogs for learning from and definitely for play! Emmy was hand-raised, has been cuddled and loved indoors but loves being outdoors to run and play. She is 90% potty-trained either by crate or puppy pen, managed feedings and schedules for outdoor potty-time. Of course as a puppy they’ll need continued training in new homes. We are seeking patient, compassionate and active shepherd-savvy homes. We look for families where someone is home during the day enough to give pups affection, attention and continued training. These puppies would be good for older, breed-experienced children but will really benefit from and enjoy canine-companions to keep teaching them and offering companionship! Thank you! .dashdog From far, far-away Carrizo Springs, Texas we first got 5 of the pups who have been adopted; this week we brought in the last 3 babies - just as beautiful, unique and SMART! Ellie, Emmy and brother Enzo are actual littermates. We know they have at least Aussie-Shepherd & small retriever lineage; Emmy and one other look like mini Viszla mixes except very sweeeeet and much smaller…but they’re definitely also mixed and we just convene among ourselves, fosters, vets and other rescuers as to their breed mixes. At 11 weeks old the E-Trio were the smallest of original litter; now they’re each around 11-12 lbs. Ellie is the entertainer; she’s a powerball who is fast and agile and will definitely need a fun active forever home! We hope they all find matches with at least one other similar size mix dog to play with. Ellie loves all big dogs and is respectful of their signals. Though at our house she’s quite the little Queen! Emmy is the chocolate colored sister with hazel eyes. She’s also petite but more laid-back, following the others around and happy to go with the flow. Emmy has a silky light chocolate and auburn color which highlights her green-hazel eyes. She’s very unique looking and so pretty she will be a show-stopper. Enzo is the male who like Ellie is extremely athletic and playful. He lives the big dogs and has loved all of his siblings to rumble, tumble and play with then flops down to snooze hours at a time. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities. We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet.
