Meet Cash, a sweet little 2-year-old Wheaten Terrier - Corgi mix who has never met a stranger! He has gorgeous curly terrier locks but the shorter legs of a corgi! He's adorable! Cash is a friendly and funny young smallish-breed dog. He has a happy disposition and a moderate energy level. Cash likes to play with gentle dogs, he has lived with a chihuahua-mix “brother” dog and they get along perfectly. Cash goes everywhere he can with his humans and is very well-behaved in his own home, at other homes, in public places and definitely at doggie daycare. Cash is in need of a new home because his loving mom is very ill; she lost her job and home and has tried to keep her precious fur baby with her but moving between motels isn’t fair to Cash. She’s also just been hospitalized and was terrified Cash would have to go to a shelter But - by chance I answered my phone which I never do because DASH is 24/7/366 and it’s impossible to ever rest….but this time we are all so relieved that “by chance” I did answer and we agreed to take this little guy because we know there are people out there looking for a little doll like him. ”Cash” is short for Cassius which I know is a name of Latin origin. In history and literature there are many characters named Cassius both good and bad, but the meaning of Cassius in its Latin root is “chance.” That’s why we are sure DASH is Cash’s chance to find a new, loving and stable owner so his futures is secured and his first mom can have peace of mind that her baby is ok. Cash is good with cats as well as dogs; he likes children but hasn’t lived with them so we prefer a more mature home where the humans are still active but the household is more peaceful. Cash is housebroken but has had to move around a lot lately so we want to be sure his new humans give him time to decompress and feel settled before leaving him home alone.
