Echo is a very smart dog; he knows many commands! He is very eager to please and could learn so much from a family willing to teach him. He can be protective over the ones he loves and does not enjoy the company of other animals. He has done well with children while at the shelter and we feel he would make a wonderful family protector. He is a bit nervous here at the shelter and may take some time to get used to new people. Although he's a bit guarded, he comes around quickly and loves to play. He enjoys being outside in out exercise yards, and we believe he will need lots of playtime in his new home. He seems to be housebroken while here at the shelter and would do best in a quiet home without lots of commotion.Age: 5Housebroken: YesActivity Level: MediumKids: Preferably older, quieter kids so he can decompressDogs: Fine around dogs in public but needs to be the only dog in the homeCats: NoTraining Needs: Moderate, displays occasional guarding behavior, needs time to decompressLeash Trained: YesMore information?
